Some people are poster children for remedial… everything.
This person posted in full earnest, by the way.

I resisted the urge to suggest he forward his concept to the current POTUS, since this sounds like it would be right up Cheatolini’s alley. I refrained because I suspect this life form might have followed through – and Cheatolini would dump the entire American economy (or what’s left of it, anyway) into this — what I’ll euphemistically call “idea.” Of course Cheatolini would claim it was his own brilliant invention. Yes, i’m aware that the Netherlands actually did expand its coastline using this general concept. We, however, are not a nation the size of the Netherlands.
Tempting as it is to chalk this up to a bot, I can’t.
AI gets things wrong. It can and does, however, correctly spell the words with and ocean.
I normally hide names on copied stuff. In this case, the life form seemed proud of the post – no feelings of embarrasment to spare.
At left is one of the comments. I admit to snorting when I read it. Coolidge is a small town about a half an hour away. Our older daughter and her boys live there. It’s not the worst place in the state, by a long shot. Neither is it an intellectual hot spot.
To be fair, Chad could also have asked, “You went to school in the USA, didn’t you?” and the principle would stand.
I’m posting this nonsense to offset some of the ongoing real life challenges. No major changes, thank goodnes. Only the usual round of impossible situations.
