The one downside to working with WordPress on my own server is that my own server is running outdated software. I decided to update, which is a necessary evil. It brought every one of my sites to a full-on crash and burn.
I finally managed to get pages back up and running. Barely. This time I backed everything up – go me! Except when I backed up my photos for this website, I… actually didn’t. I did for all the websites except this one, ironically. And while I did a full server backup recently, it failed. Gotta love working so much OT that your brain is in limbo once you’re off.
Oh, and still didn’t get everything updated because part of the update required me to log into a system I don’t have and don’t have time to learn. So basically… I got nuttin’ for my trouble. Gah…
Otherwise, I’m working like a dog and hoping to evade the kill-bug making the rounds. One of our neighbors was apparently just diagnosed with COVID-19, and she was the social butterfly of the community. While I’m my happiest in full-on hermit mode, my spousal unit never met a soul he didn’t want to talk to death. He didn’t have any direct exchanges with the problem child recently, but we don’t know how long she’s had this stuff nor how far and wide she shared the wealth before her diagnosis.
At the moment Arizona is #1 in the COVID-19 race. Our rate in comparison to population has now exceeded NYC at its worst. Our governor is a Trumpist. (Zeig Heil y’all.) The good news is, Carrotface-in-chief and his cartel held a mask-free worship service in a local church about a week or so ago, attended up-close-and-personal by at least a thousand or so. (It was worship of Carrotface, mind you, not any of the more traditional religions or cults.)
I keep reminding myself Karma’s playing the long game, kind of like the FBI did prior to impeachment. Only unlike the FBI, Karma isn’t deterred by a bad toupee, dirty money, or dirty congressmen. Witness how Carrotface Jr’s fembot has now been diagnosed with COVID-19, along with one of Pence’s sycophants. The turtles are racing to the finish line: The Dah-nulled, (dis)Pence, or #MoscowMitch. So far imho Dullard and Pinch are neck-and-neck, but I think Karma may have something special in mind for Mitch-the-snitch.
Karma is taking several approaches simultaneously, with Epstein’s female sidekick locked up. They have her on a suicide watch, which I take to mean they’re watching to see when they can commit her “suicide”. I’m hoping she signs on the dotted line, naming names and pointing dildos, before they turn off the video.
I hope you two can avoid the virus. It is really scary out there. My sister and I only venture out about 2 times a month and even then, it is worrisome. Mostly having groceries delivered. I need to start recleaning the house. Organizing again will take up time but what else do I have to do? My niece is trying to buy a house or condo in Florida and hasn’t had luck for months..They are living in a rental condo for now. They are trying to buy it but appraisal was $21,000 UNDER their offer and seller won’t come down. Can’t imagine that.
