Oh geeze… We’re supposed to be over winter weather by now. Instead, our forecast tonight is for snow. Again. Here in the low frigging deserts. Gah. The wind is also pretty gnarly tonight, so yay.
I don’t mind a reasonable amount of rain, and as long as our winds stay within predicted levels? No big deal.
But really?
Snow, here? The first day of March?
Come on, Mother Nature. Now you’re just messing with me.
Too tired tonight to write more or do anything with photos. So ya get a link to one of my favorite acapella groups. Bet you never figured 1) you’d ever see an acapella version of a Metallica song or 2) you’d ever see me link to a Metallica song. Well, guess what? Both are true tonight.

How much snow did you get? It’s always tough when you’re in an area that’s not used to it. Are they able to clear the roads when you get a coating?
I’ve gotta admit, I always thought that song draaaaaaaaaaggggged. And acapella doesn’t improve it. If anything, it drags even more for not having instruments to at least occasionally break up the vocal tedium. But to each their own! ๐
We didn’t get snow at our place, only rain. My daughter’s boys had a snowball fight this morning, and a few places in the Phoenix metro area got snow. Tucson did, too. The likelihood of us getting enough snow, where we are, to need a plow is far lower than my chances of winning the lottery. In the mountains, though, there are snow plows and they often get a workout.
I know the song was a slow one – just kind of made me chuckle to see it done as an acapella cover.
even here in Northern Indiana, we keep thinking it must be spring….and then we get some snow.
We’ve reached 100ยบ in March. It’s unfathomable to see snow in the low deserts this late, lol.
