The National Weather Service promises tonight will be the last of the rain for a while. Since it’s 9:30 pm and still raining, I’m not 100 percent convinced. However, they’re saying clear skies should rule for at least the next week, with the promise that by next weekend we should be in the high 70’s daytime. I sure hope so.
We didn’t get snow where I live, though it snowed almost everywhere else in the state, including Tucson. A lot of snow in Tucson, in fact – enough there were warnings about snow closures on the I-10.
This article has pictures. Superstition Mountain is in our proverbial back yard. There are plenty of other reports on the page about our crazy
In my immediate area, we’ve just had street flooding – albeit lots of it. We’ve had rain almost every day for two months. The last 48 hours have been a deluge: rain, hail, all reminders the best thing that ever happened to me was a job working from home.
I don’t remember if I posted any of these photos or not. They were taken a few days ago, during a short-lived reprieve from the rain. (It started raining just as we got back in the car that day.)
We took a sideways step on the stock photo site. Still doing it but rather than try to compete with the glut of stock photo sites directly, we chose to do a smaller and more personal site – just our stuff, at geraniphoto.com. We’ve got a lot more images to upload but we’ve already sold a few photos. It’s fun and the site’s simple to manage.

You have some very pretty photos there. Good luck with that. Hope your weather gets better too.
Thanks Terri. It did clear off today but it was still COLD. It didn’t get over 50 degrees until past noon. I’m sure a lot of that had to do with being surrounded by snow. The winds coming down off the mountains were brutal.
Weather is becoming a very strange topic for so many. We are expecting a bunch of rain followed by hurricane force winds. Now March can be very windy here in NY but hurricane style winds are typically saved for late summer…..
Great pics, I hope your site serves you well
This year’s weather has been truly bizarre for us. I’ve been here going on 50 years and never saw it like this before.
I;m editting my manuscript. Are you interested in reading it to see if it’s worthy?
